I just bought a sweater from Ross and as you all know they hang everything. It is a good sweater, but it now has clothes hangerdents or marks in the shoulders. Is there a way to remove them? Or am i doomed? I know that sweaters have a more delicate knit to them than a shirt, so i don't know what to do.
- Answer:
Give it a brief washing either by hand or in the delicate cycle and then lay it flat to dry. Make sure to shape the sweater when you lay it out. If you do not have sweater drying clothes hangers (the racks you can pick up for as low as $1 if you keep your eyes peeled at places like Big Lots) then lay it on a stack of towels changing out the towels after an hour or so.
Make sure to store it, and all sweaters, folded so that it doesn't happen again...curses department stores!
