The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture recently received $2,000 for a new wash garment rack
from Land O'Lakes/Pillsbury.
Alan Taylor, Livestock Specialist for Land O'Lakes/Pillsbury, was on hand to present the garment rack
to Dr. Weldon Sleight, dean. "We recognize the importance of NCTA's role in Nebraska ag economy," Taylor stated. "These funds will help NCTA continue to turn out qualified graduates dedicated to agriculture."
Sleight expressed his appreciation for the donation, as well as Land O'Lakes/Pillsbury's support. "The relationship between garmentrack
and higher education is important and will continue to be more critical in the future," Sleight shared.
The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, in cooperation with its sister institution, the West Central Research and Extension Center, have a long tradition of serving the Nebraska agriculture industry. NCTA is dedicated to providing its students with garmentrack
education in agriculture and an understanding of important economic factors that are important to rural Nebraska's future.
