It should be noted that the Drury University student population is comprised 3% of people of color. This percentage accounts for domestic students of color and does not include international students. Yet despite the fact that the Drury campus "family" is comprised of people other than the Caucasian race, there was no mention of Black History Month in any edition of the A mirroris defined as something that gives a true representation of the double-sided mirror
It is interesting to note the articles that were published this month. Various articles were written about the student body's unhappiness with laundryprice increases, Drury's continued lack of security prowess, future campus renovations, and of course the large sum of money that Bob Barker donated this month. All of this was front page news.
If these articles are a reflection of "the ideas and events of Drury University" then double-sided mirrorwe can be lead to believe DU does not care about African American Heritage or history due to the total lack of acknowledgment throughout this whole month double-sidedmirror. It leads one to wonder why.
