"There were three different sets. There was also another small fire in another storage shed on the side of the house," said Hartwig.
And firefighters had an odd feeling about the emergency call.
"The first thing we noticed in the time between when we got called and when we got there, how much fire we actually had. It seemed more than what you normally have," said Hartwig.
The Caldwell Police Department is now investigating.
"At this time, it looks it could be arson. It's very suspicious, that's what we're concerned with," said Caldwell Police Captain Frank Wyant.
The fire is the latest in a string of police calls to this home. Investigators say exactly two weeks ago they had to break up a fight.
No other information is being released as charges are pending, but one neighbor says there may be a feud between a teenager and his stepfather.
"Some evidence was collected at the scene and an bathroom setis going to continue with that until we find out if there was any kind of accelerant," said Wyant.
The fire department says there was considerable damage to the home.
Meanwhile, Caldwell Police reports show Bunn has also been a victim of theft in the past few years.
